Services included are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Orthopedic<\/li>\n<li>Hearing Impairment<\/li>\n<li>Neurology<\/li>\n<li>Cardiology<\/li>\n<li>Cerebral Palsy<\/li>\n<li>Cystic Fibrosis<\/li>\n<li>Urology<\/li>\n<li>Sickle Cell<\/li>\n<li>Cleft Lip\/Palate deformities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Referrals are made to special clinics or doctors to be able to meet the children&#8217;s needs.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2><strong>Communicable\/Infectious Disease<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Investigation of disease outbreaks<\/li>\n<li>Provide immunizations\/medication as indicated<\/li>\n<li>Provide education to maintain the health of the public<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>HIV Services<\/strong><br \/>\nHIV testing and counseling is offered free of charge. HIV medication assistance program (ADAP) services are available if eligible. Services are confidential but not anonymous for testing. For anonymous testing site in the area contact the Health Dept.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Screenings for Personal Care Services and Nursing Home Placement<\/strong><br \/>\nFor Medicaid or Medicaid eligible individuals, screenings are done by a team consisting of a nurse and a social worker. Determination is made to see if the individual meets criteria for nursing home placement, personal care services in the home or if some other community agency can best meet the individual\u2019s needs. To have a screening, contact your local Social Services Department.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2><strong>Tuberculosis<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Tuberculosis counseling<\/li>\n<li>TB risk assessment<\/li>\n<li>Possible testing<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>TB medications available as indicated.
