The Virginia Department of Education (VDOE), in partnership with the Virginia Department of Health (VDH), conducts an annual survey of school health personnel to document the health services offered in Virginia public schools. This data helps to analyze various issues related to the delivery of health services in schools and the professional development of school health staff.<\/p>\n

Each public school division must self-report its mandated School Health Survey data to the Virginia Department of Education (VDOE) by June 30th of the school year. Supplemental Guidance<\/a> is available to provide clarity for data points and variables. The data is compiled into a dashboard and does not reflect any changes that occurred after the collection date. For questions or more information, please contact the respective school division.<\/p>\n
