LFMRC is part of LFHD\u2019s Emergency Preparedness &amp; Response (EP&amp;R) division.<\/p>\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><\/div>\n<p>The mission of LFMRC is to promote healthy living, protect the environment, prevent disease, and prepare the community for disasters. The Lord Fairfax MRC Unit works to improve the overall health of the community through public health outreach and community engagement.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What do MRC volunteers do?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>MRC volunteers provide reserve capacity to respond to local, state, and national public health needs.
